3nd Annual Lobster Feast

| Come enjoy our 3rd summer
lobster feast at the Berwyn home of Bill and Jeanne Dyer. We will
prepare the main course of steamed lobster and clams and provide the
beer, wine, and soda. Each attendee will be asked to bring an appetizer,
salad, or dessert. The cost of this event will be determined as the date
nears and we are able to determine the cost of the seafood. (Note: last
year we charged $20 per person for members and $30 per guests, but I’m
sure it will be more money this year.) Anyone interested in attending
this event should contact the Dyer’s at (610) 296-0228 or at
Jeannedyer1@aol.com by Wednesday Aug 6th. Sign up early as we can
only accommodate a maximum of 28 people and this is a popular event. |

Exit onto route 252 south and turn left at the first traffic light onto

(the street immediately after the power lines). Go about ½ mile to the

Independence Hall. If you can get past Caleb, the vigilant night
watchman, you will be treated to a “behind the scenes” glimpse of the
Pennsylvania State House circa 1776. Encounter delegates who will share
with you the events of the times. Afterwards, enjoy the spectacular
“Lights of Liberty” show. Carpooling is available from the Barnes &

Farewell-to-Summer Cruise to Bermuda

Come
join your new President and Vice President and their spouses on a
farewell to summer cruise to Bermuda. We will be sailing on the
Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Majesty from the
Port of Philadelphia to St. Georges, Bermuda. We depart at 4:00 PM
Saturday, Sept. 20th, and arrive at St. Georges 1:00 PM
Monday, Sept. 22nd. The ship will be berthed at the pier in
St. Georges and serve as your hotel allowing you to come and go as you
please. The ship provides full meal service during your stay. Public
transportation to island beaches and attractions is located nearby. The
ship departs 11:30 AM Thursday, Sept. 25th for the return
cruise to Philadelphia arriving 8:00 AM Saturday, Sept. 27th.
Ocean view cabins start at $901.00 per person and include tips, taxes,
port charges, fuel surcharge and travel insurance. Inside cabins are
less. Alcohol, soda and land tours are extra. |

number of cabins booked. Deposit of $250.00 per person at time of
booking. Balance due 75 days prior to departure. Payment can be made by
credit card. Passports are required. Our agent advises the ship will
fill up rapidly, so for the best selection of cabins and prices, reserve
quickly. There is no single supplement, so if you are a single looking
for a roommate, please contact the trip leader who will refer you to
other singles. Parking for cruise line patrons is available at the
Philadelphia Cruise Terminal at a fee of $10.00 per day.
