Stowe Vermont is the ski capital of the East and hub of winter sports. Stowe offers world class downhill skiing at both Mount Mansfield and Spruce Peak locations. This is also the premier location for cross-country skiers, where they have the option of the Stowe Cross Country Center or the famous Trapp Family Lodge. The village of Stowe offers a variety of shopping, sleigh rides, snowshoeing, ice skating, sledding, snowmobiling, hiking and more!
The Commodores Inn, just down the road from the Village of Stowe, invites you to enjoy comfortable lodging, fine food and drink on a tranquil 30-acre setting. Their 3-acre pond offers ice skating day and night. Guest rooms contain one King or two Queen beds, cable TV and complimentary wireless internet access. Bask in the tropical warmth of their new indoor heated pool. You also have the use of 2 large Jacuzzis, 2 saunas and exercise equipment in the fitness area. Other inn amenities include a fireside lobby with 24-hour coffee service, wide screen TV and VCR and reading and game rooms. The free Stowe shuttle bus comes right to the front door of the Commodores Inn.
