10AM with Lunch in Media, following

Ridley Creek State Park encompasses over 2600 acres of Delaware Co. woodlands and meadows. We will take either the 4-mile paved loop road OR the white-blazed trail of about the same length. The decision will be made based on conditions and hiker preferences. Hiking trails are mostly unpaved so dress appropriately.

From Newtown Square, take 252 South to Gradyville Rd. and then, after Providence Rd., enter the Sandy Flash Drive park entrance which is off Gradyville Road. Follow directions to Hunting Hill Mansion and meet at the parking lot on the left, just prior to the mansion.

Following the hike, for those interested, we’ll go to Media for lunch at the Iron Hill Brewery.
